Shows the tuning settings and the zone outlines on the video, with every
section in a side panel.
Detect person: the AI finds people;
tap one to lock on. Draw a box: turn tracking on, then drag
a box around a face or object to follow it.
Aim zone green dashed
Where you want the subject to sit. Press Draw aim zone and drag a rectangle on the video, or drag
the zone's center dot to move it. The gimbal starts moving when the aim point leaves it.
Width10
Height10
Aim zone size, as % of the video frame.
Response100
How quickly speed builds as the subject moves away from the stop square. Gentle keeps slow walks
smooth; too high gives move-stop-move.
Max speed40
Top speed inside the aim zone, as % of Max pan / tilt speed.
Stop zone small solid square
Width40
Height40
As % of the aim zone. Inside it the gimbal stops. Bigger = sits still more; smaller = re-centres
more precisely.
Fast zone between the aim zone and the orange line
Width300
Height300
Size of the orange square, as % of the aim zone.
Response150
How quickly speed builds across the fast zone, so the subject doesn't reach the orange line.
Max speed80
Top speed inside the fast zone, as % of Max pan / tilt speed.
Outside the orange line
Response450
How quickly it ramps up to full speed (Max pan / tilt speed) to bring the subject back.
Overall
Max pan speed35
Top speed for left/right turns while tracking, as % of the gimbal's maximum. Used outside the
orange line; the zone Max speeds are a % of this.
Max tilt speed25
Same for up/down tilt.
Eases onto a newly picked person (half strength, speeding up over ½ s) so it doesn't overshoot,
and drops strength right after an overshoot. Beyond the orange line it also builds up (to 2.5×) while the
subject keeps getting away.
Braking40
Slows the gimbal down as the subject comes back toward the aim zone, so it doesn't fly past.
Raise it if the camera overshoots; lower it if it creeps in too slowly.
Smoothing60
Eases into moves so they start gently instead of jerking. Only affects speeding up; slowing down
is never delayed. Higher is smoother but reacts later.
Stop on loss1
Seconds to ease to a stop when the subject is lost mid-move (0 = stop at once). Clearing the
target or turning AI off still stops at once.
Pan / Tilt: which axes the AI may move. Auto-pick largest: lock onto the biggest person
automatically. When it's off, you tap a person to choose them. Once locked, it stays on that person and
waits if they leave; tap another person or Clear target to switch.
Tracking off.
